PEACE + CHAOS

Concept, Interior design, Custom works

One day, Peace and Chaos looked at each other and – bang! – it was magnetism at first sight. It was spontaneous creativity, ever supplied by the dualism of two opposite entities that complement each other. Together, they created mesmerizing patterns to adorn apparel collections for Peace + Chaos loving femininities. But they needed a place to house their magnetism, showcase their creations and welcome their friends. They decided to turn to us. And we told them they did not need a boutique. They needed a gallery, for displaying their showstopping patterns. We therefore designed their new space to serve as a canvas, for both their peaceful blue, and their chaotic black-and-white self. The patterns should get the spotlight, so we created custom frames for them. And, thinking that the Peace + Chaos customer would be inclined to have a Peace + Chaos soul, we also designed a spacious, luxurious boudoir with large mirrors, instead of the usual fitting room – to offer them privacy and space to be creative with their style. Of course, the Chaka, the Inkas-inspired sacred symbol of Peace + Chaos, is present in strategic spots, along with exotic, surrealistic decorative elements that communicate the brand’s peaceful-and-chaotic spirit. This is what happens when opposites attract. It’s basic design physics.
