PANIGYRI

Element of nature. Air, water, fire, earth. Earth. Earth. There’s no mistake here; Panigyri is infused with all elements of nature but is solidly grounded on earth. On lava-born, Santorinian earth. The creators of this traditional restaurant in Santorini cast their eyes beyond the typical white’n’blue. They clearly see what lies beneath. It’s earth. That’s what we also saw when we embarked on designing a new brand identity for Panigyri. Reddish terracotta, volcanic earth. It’s where everything grows, from dry tomatoes to our hungry souls. Even the fish swim over a terracotta seabed. And the salty air carries fine, invisible terracotta dust, warmed by the oven’s fire. We figured; it should be white‘n’earth. We borrowed the colors and materials of earth, and cooked an identity that visualizes this earthy feeling, writing the logo in a typeface that feels warm and like sculpted by ancient hands. Patterns and figures that remind of ancient red-figure pottery dress the branded merchandise. Custom 3D ceramic artworks, created by artist @panosprofitis, decorate the welcoming space. All created to host the tradition of Greek cooking. Of what feeds us and keeps us grounded - on Greek earth.
